Participating in a trade show is a big investment for start up brands. You can hate it or Love it and looking back at our experience in "Select", we could say it was one of the memorable events in our journey. Having said that, I would like to share something that I consider the most important thing I've learned -- "Brand is a Memory"
Many definitions have been translated for what defines a Brand. Clue is: its not your logo. Be Personable-- Trade shows are all about human interaction after all.
Remember, creating memories that build your brand is a continuous challenge and process.
The event also gave us the unique opportunity to build relationships with our clients and other designers. Some conversations got deep in an effortless and non-forced way and it's free-flowing, maybe because of the main reason that lead us all in the same room---Fashion.
